Library social groups
If you’re stuck in a reading rut, looking to try something new, or would like a little help in getting back into reading, why not go along to a friendly and informal reading group at your local library? Groups are always welcoming and ready to start a discussion over a cuppa and a biscuit.
Aberkenfig Library
Reading group – first Monday of the month at 11:30am.
Bridgend Library
Reading group – first Wednesday of the month at 2pm, third Wednesday of the month at 2pm, first Thursday of the month at 2pm.
Maesteg Library
Reading group – first Wednesday of the month at 1:30pm, third Friday of the month at 6pm.
Porthcawl Library
Reading group – third Wednesday of the Month at 2pm.
Pyle Library
Reading group – last Thursday of the month at 2pm, third Thursday of the month at 7pm.
PCSO chance to chat – Monday 2pm – 4pm. Your chance for a cuppa with a copper! Come along and ask your question in an informal and friendly space.

Reading group – first Friday of the month at 10:30am.
Pencoed Library
Non Fiction reading group – third Tuesday of the month at 4pm.
Philosophy Circle – first Tuesday of the month at 4pm – A friendly and supportive ideas and discussion group to stimulate the mind.
Poetry Sharing – second Monday of the month at 1pm – join us as we appreciate and discuss a few poems each month.
