Active at home-Super-Agers
We are sharing our active at home resources for older adults that have been created as part of our Super-agers programme.
Hopefully you will find these resources useful to help maintain a healthy and active life when we are all spending more time at home.
We have run live sessions either in person or via Zoom. If you would like more information about what’s happening please contact Adrienne.hayhoe@bridgend.gov.uk

Resistance band
To complete all the activities in the seated exercise session you could purchase a ‘resistance band’.
Pedometer
You may also want to buy a ‘pedometer’ or a step counter – a simple piece of equipment to help you count the amount of steps you cover in a normal day – you may want to set a target or to improve on previous days.
Activity tracker
To track your activity levels we have developed an activity tracker, which will help you to set goals , track your movement and exercise weekly whilst helping you to think about ways you can stay mentally active and stay in touch weight people important to you. You can download the tracker booklet here.
We hope to bring you more exercises and activities in future weeks, so keep an eye on this web page.
