Digital drop-in sessions

Improve your computer skills with Bridgend Library Service. Local libraries provide free digital drop-in sessions where you can get help with a range of IT issues – how to Skype, how to shop safely online, how to use price comparison sites, how to use a Smartphone or how to get the best out of your eReader. Please see below for your nearest drop-in session:

Betws Library: Mondays 10am – 12pm
Bridgend Library: Thursdays 10am – 12pm
Maesteg Library: Tuesdays 10am – 12pm
Pencoed Library: Tuesdays 2pm – 5pm
Porthcawl Library: Mondays 10.30am – 12pm
Pyle Library: Mondays 2pm – 4pm
Sarn Library: Fridays 10am – 12pm

learndirect IT courses

Adult Community Learning run digital drop-in sessions throughout the borough of Bridgend mainly in libraries.  Why not call into one of the informal drop-in sessions to get free help, advice and support on using your PC, tablet, laptop or any other technology.  Whether you are a complete novice or have a specific query their IT experts will be able to help you.  You can also sign up for free learndirect IT courses which give you flexibility to study and learn new skills at your own pace – in a drop-in session or at home as long as you have access to the internet.

English and Maths help at the Ton Pentre Suite, Pyle Life Centre

If you need to brush up on your English or Maths, the Ton Pentre suite in Pyle Life Centre offers you the opportunity to gain new skills and work towards a qualification. You can access a range of free learndirect courses suitable for beginners in many subjects such as basic Maths and English; all in a friendly and informal environment.
