Volunteering

Volunteering for a worthy cause has great benefits, with many people finding that they make new friends and gain new skills and confidence, as well as gaining valuable experience – all while giving something back to their community and making a difference to the lives of others!

Whether you’re looking to use your spare time to volunteer for a worthy cause, need support in setting up your own voluntary group or need help in recruiting volunteers for an existing group, Bridgend Association of Voluntary Organisations (BAVO) can help.

BAVO have a volunteer centre at 2 Queen Street, Bridgend town centre, where anyone thinking of volunteering can pop in and get advice and information.

To get in touch with BAVO, call 01656 810400 or email bavo@bavo.org.uk. To search for volunteering opportunities near you visit the Volunteer Wales website here: www.volunteering-wales.net
